Welcome Letter

Dear Tiger Parents & Students,

We are excited and eager to begin our 2022-2023 school year! Please keep the contact information below and know that we are here to work with parents and guardians to ensure all students are successful at Sealy High School.

Students WILL NOT receive schedules unless student online registration is complete (this is for all new AND returning students). Register all students at www.sealyisd.com. Under Parent Resources, select: Registration Information. https://portals20.ascendertx.com/ParentPortal/login?distid=008902

Wednesday, August 3, 2022: Freshmen Orientation (Fish Camp) 9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. General high school information sessions, all 9th grade students should plan to attend. Drop off and pick up in front of the school. Students only.

Monday, August 15, 2022: Back to School Extravaganza! (Grades 9 -12) 5:00 p.m.–6:30 p.m. (Come and Go) *Parent Presentation at 6:30pm auditorium Schedules will be distributed. Student parking passes will be available for purchase. Students/parents may tour the building, meet the teachers and secure supply lists. Parent meeting will follow at 6:30pm. Students WILL NOT receive schedules unless student online registration is complete (this is for all new AND returning students).

*Seniors will take senior cap and gown pictures August 12th, 13th and 16th. Please see our website for your scheduled time

Wednesday, August 17, 2022: First day of school – Drive Time begins(tardy bell rings) at 7:45 a.m. Doors open each day at 7:25! Students will report directly to Drive Time. (Grab and go breakfast available)

The safety and well being of our students and staff is our first priority. Our doors will open at 7:25am each day. All students will report to first period upon arrival to school (Drive Time on the first day). Students may purchase a “grab and go” breakfast which they will eat in their first period classroom. There will be no cafeteria seating in the morning or gathering in the hallways before the bell rings. The tardy bell will ring at 7:45am and first period will begin.
